This allows us to paint at lighting speeds while making laser-straight lines. After final coat on the walls is applied, we carefully remove the tape at a 45-degree angle.

Not all tapes are created equal. Each have a different function and purpose. When it comes to getting laser straight lines where the trim meets the wall, we use 1” Frog Tape. We call it “skinny frog” for short. After our trim is prepped, caulked, and painted, we carefully apply the skinny frog along the trim. Making sure that the edge is firmly pressed and secured to create a tight seal. Before we start cutting the trim, we will run a damp rag along the edge to activate a patented gel that stops the paint from bleeding through.
